Thanks to the support of UNHCR Czech Republic, a four-part video series titled Refugee was produced in 2024. The series presents fundamental legal concepts related to refugee status in an engaging manner for the general public, while also explaining the reasons why people may embark on such uncertain journeys.
Filming took place largely on the premises of the Faculty of Law at Charles University, as well as in forested areas, at Prague Airport, in a reception center, and in front of the Ministry of the Interior building. The script was written by Sára Barčáková in collaboration with Konstantin Sulimenko, and cinematography and editing were handled by Ted Burski. The videos feature students and graduates of the Faculty of Law at Charles University.
