It has become a tradition that, in addition to regular teaching, the Centre for Migration and Refugee Law organises several events and seminars each semester for both students and professionals. On 7th May, the last event of the spring series of meetings for students and the public took place at the Faculty of Law of Charles University. Representatives of individual legal professions, which are united by their focus on refugee and migration law, presented themselves to the students.
How did the Visegrád Group countries respond to the unprecedented mass influx of displaced persons from Ukraine? In what ways were their approaches similar, and how did they differ? And what lessons can they learn from one another? These questions were addressed in a joint project carried out by researchers from four Central European countries who have been engaged in this topic over the long term. The project was co-funded by the International Visegrad Fund.
